How much meat do I need for a churrasco?

About 400 to 500 g of meat per adult, counting all the cuts and sausages together. For 10 people, buy 4 to 5 kg.

What is the best cut for a Brazilian barbecue?

Picanha (rump cap) is the favourite. Add linguiça and one more cut such as fraldinha or costela for variety.

Can I order the meat a few days before the party?

Yes. Order early in the week and it arrives chilled; put it straight in the fridge, or freeze what you will not use in the next couple of days.
